Shoudn't everyone?
Ideally yes. But there are some babies who cannot be vaccinated due to medical reasons as they may have some other complications. Sometimes, though very rare, a vaccine can create an allergic reaction. Therefore, individuals who are allergic to a component found in the vaccine may not be given a particular vaccine.
Also, all vaccinations cannot be given at the time the birth and need to follow an immunization schedule. Wouldn't that prevent all infections right from the time of the birth? No. Vaccines are given as per age specific risks for complications, ability of persons of a certain age to respond to the vaccine, and the potential interference with the immune system's response by the passively transferred maternal antibody.
The vaccines are administered according to the health and age and the type of the vaccine. Multiple vaccines given at the same time may have adverse reactions putting in jeopardy the very health it is designed to save.
However, the scientific community has created groups of vaccines that can be administered as one shot.
